This photo is very beautiful, in it's simplistic nature it expresses a deep feeling hidden in the dark and behind/beyond the flower. The things unseen in this photo bring meaning forth. You question what is beyond the corners and what exactly is it hiding. In color this photo would express so much less, and the room for interpretation the lack of color leaves is great.

Well that may just be my eye...but I like it none the less.

well of course, there is always a different meaning to a piece of art for every person. When you view a piece of art you bring a background with you. If you have been hurt in the past you may see something painful or a release. If you have joy in your heart you will see a certain beauty. This is looking all at the same piece of art mind you. Your depiction is going to be different from mine and mine from my neighbors...ect.ect.. Which makes art an amazing thing.
